The Scrape Family

I'm the Leader of the Band,

I play upon my Fiddle,

And when the cow jumps o'er the moon

I play Hey Diddle Diddle.

I'm Missus Scrape, I can make a good crumpet.

I'm very shy, but I blow my own trumpet.

I play in the Band, but I don't get much money

Unless it is dry and very sunny.

I'm Marjorie Scrape, and I play on the Flute,

(Tootle oo tootle oo toot toot toot)

If I play a wrong note my Pa frowns at me,

His glance it is blacker than soot, oot! oot!

I'm Master Scrape, I bang the Drum

Row Dow Dow Dow

But oft'ner still I bang my thumb

Ow ow ow ow!
